Description

Program Overview

This comprehensive course involves 2 days of intensive training. Relevant theory from the historical development of CT, through to data acquisition, image reconstruction, workflow tips and common CT examinations; including oral and intravenous contrast administration will be covered and reinforced through hands-on scanning sessions using leading Canon Medical Systems technology and simulator laptops.

While this course utilises Canon Medical Systems hardware and software, the main focus is to get those with limited, or no CT experience up-to-speed, through independent classroom-led theoretical concepts and practical teaching.

Who Should Attend

Computed Tomography novices, those who have had a prolonged hiatus from practising, or if you simply need a refresher in CT. This course is ideally suited to radiographers who are about to commence CT departmental training or SPP (formerly NDPD/PDY).

Program Highlights

As a course participant, you will learn how to operate Canon Medical Systems CT scanners, gain practical scanning experience. You will also have exclusive access to a CT simulator laptop to practise multiplanar and 3D reconstructions. Along with invaluable CT insights tips, tricks and techniques.
